Gavin Artz is the Director of Hi-tech and Emerging Opportunities at the Department for Trade and Investment in South Australia.
Gavin has worked with companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, PWC, AWS, Microsoft, Nokia 5G, MTX, Cognizant, The Commonwealth Bank of Australia to create over 7,000 hi-tech jobs in south Australia over the last four years.
Gavin works to create innovation partnerships and consortiums of companies to tackle complex problems and develop future technologies from a base in South Australia. With a focus on AI, data management, data infrastructure such as data centres and quantum computing, Gavin has helped transform South Australia into one of the leading hi-tech jurisdictions in Australia.
