With an interest in playing and making music, Alex became the youngest person at that time in Australia to complete an Advanced Diploma in Audio Engineering through the School of Audio Engineering (SAE), which he began in 2008 at 16.

His love of music led Alex to begin a degree in Media Arts at UniSA. However, recognising the importance of blending his skills with a business focus, he changed course and completed a Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing at Swinburne University.

On completion of his degree, Alex was employed by Hardi Australia, a European crop spray equipment manufacturer, as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. His skills in the digital realm quickly caught the attention of Bushmans, leading to his transition to the role of Marketing Coordinator in 2022 at Bushmans Tanks.At Bushmans Tanks, Alex took the opportunity to rebuild the marketing department from scratch, using his knowledge and insights to develop innovative strategies to drive the company forward. In 2022, Alex led the design and launch of Bushmans web shop, which sells small water tanks to end customers, while including a B2B customer in every sale, which was a balancing act keeping distributors happy and giving end customers an online channel to buy Bushmans Tanks.

His dedication and leadership skills were recognised, earning him a promotion to National Marketing Manager in 2023. Under his leadership, the small team continues to flourish, providing services for 5 facilities across Australia, hundreds of distributors and thousands of end customers
